Concert: Lost Cabin + Rhythmical Brain Disorder
April 11, 2014 @ 6:00 pm - 3:00 amDonation
Lost Cabin is a new time band with an old time sound. They were formed in 2010 by two members (Massie and Inge) of the Oops-a-Daisies and singer/violin player Tati. Soon after that they continued their journey with accordionist Nadine, guitar player Gerdis and singing saw player Marie. It’s no secret they can’t keep their derrieres still whenever they hear music form the early decades of 1900 like old time, bluegrass, jazz, swing, country and delta blues. But don’t let it be mistaken, Lost Cabin’s repertoire contains only self-written material. Listening to their swingin’ country skiffle sound you’ll find yourself wanting to leave everything behind and join their caravan. So hop on and be prepared for a rocky and bumpy road!
Lost Cabin is: Tati (vocals, violin, ukulele), Massie (vocals, ukulele, washboard, spoons, snare drum), Inge (vocals, washtub bass, mandolin, ukulele), Nadine (vocals, accordion, ukulele, kazoo), Marie (vocals, singing saw, ukulele, banjolele), Gerdis (vocals, guitar, banjo).
